Stop sharing your monthly invoicing payment method for LinkedIn Ads

If you previously shared your monthly invoicing payment method with an agency, you can also stop sharing it whenever necessary.

When you stop sharing a payment method with an agency partner, any invoice setups they created using that payment method will be placed on hold and any ad accounts connected to that invoice setup will also be put on hold, pausing all campaigns until billing details have been updated.

To stop sharing your payment method in Ads Billing Center:

  1. Go to Ads Billing Center.

  2. Click Payment methods in the left menu.

  3. Click the payment method you need to stop sharing.

  4. Click the Partners tab.

  5. Click the  Remove icon to the right of the partner you need to stop sharing the payment method with.

  6. Click the Remove button in the dialog that appears.

Here's a tip

To remove the hold placed on an ad account after you’ve stopped sharing a payment method, you or your agency partner can create a new invoice setup with a different payment method, or you can reshare your payment method.
