LinkedIn service provider matching for former Profinder Pros will no longer be available

Last updated: 2 years ago

At LinkedIn, we want to provide a simple and efficient experience for our members. From time to time, we look at our set of features to evaluate how they're being used by our members. Part of this process sometimes means we decide to eliminate a feature so we can better invest those resources in building more great LinkedIn products. This is why service provider matching for former Profinder Pros will no longer be available beginning in May 2024.

Previously, we used a matching system on our Services Marketplace to help members find service providers. When a member submitted a project request through our matching system, the project was distributed to service providers who matched the project requirements. Only service providers who were previously ProFinder Pros were eligible for matching.

Instead of the previous matching system, we now allow members to optionally send their request for project proposals to additional service providers when they contact a service provider. Only providers with a Premium Business subscription will be able to respond to these requests. Former ProFinder pros can subscribe to Premium Business to try out the new matching system and other Service Page features that come with Premium Business.
