Forecasted Results when boosting a LinkedIn Page post

The Forecasted Results window generates expected performance in real time as you select various details like target audience, objective, schedule, and more. It appears on the right side of the page when you create an ad set to boost a LinkedIn Page post.

Forecasted Results provide an estimate of:
  • Target audience size
  • Projected spend
  • Projected number of results
How Forecasted Results are calculated

To calculate the forecast, our system analyzes your ad set's bid, budget, targeting, start/end dates, and more. It then considers similar ad sets and advertisers. Finally, our system simulates the ad auction to generate the projected estimates.

Important to know

While we strive for accuracy in our forecasts, it’s important to remember that forecasted results are an estimate and don’t guarantee the actual performance of your ad set.
