Manage restricted users in Campaign Manager

Last updated: 4 months ago

LinkedIn Ads accounts can be placed on hold if a user’s profile is restricted, which often happens when a profile is set up using a company name rather than the individual’s real name. To remove the account hold and resume advertising, restricted users must either update their profiles to meet LinkedIn’s real-name policy or be removed from the ad account by an account manager.

To remove a restricted user from Campaign Manager:

  1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.

  2. Click Account Settings on the left menu, then click Manage access

  3. Click the Delete icon to the right of the user's name and role, and then click the Remove button.

    • If the restricted user is the current billing admin, you’ll need to select a new billing admin before removing the restricted user.
    • If you're not an account manager, use the Role dropdown menu to find an account manager and reach out to remove the restricted user.
