Due to a change in LinkedIn’s partnership with WeChat, you can no longer connect your WeChat account with your LinkedIn profile. However, you can add your WeChat ID to the contact info section of your profile.
Note: For members who connected their WeChat and LinkedIn account before this change, you can choose to remove your WeChat ID on your profile from the Settings & Privacy page. If you remove your WeChat ID and add it to your profile again, the WeChat ID will be displayed on your profile, but it cannot be used to generate QR code.
To add your WeChat ID to your profile:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View profile.

Click Contact info in your introduction section.

In the Contact info pop-up window, click the
Edit icon. -
In the Edit contact info pop-up window, click + Add instant messenger.

Enter your WeChat ID in the Instant messenger field, and select WeChat from the dropdown menu on the right.

Click Save.
To remove your WeChat ID from your profile:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View profile.

Click Contact info in your introduction section.

In the Contact info pop-up window, click the
Edit icon. -
In the Edit contact info pop-up window, click Remove IM in the Instant messenger section.

Click Save.
To remove your WeChat ID from the Settings & Privacy page:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View profile.

Click Contact info in your introduction section.

Click the
Settings icon to the right of your WeChat account. - This will take you to the WeChat settings section in the Settings & Privacy page.

Click Remove.
To add your WeChat ID to your profile:

Tap your profile picture, then View profile.

Scroll down to the Contact section, and tap the
Edit icon. -
Tap the
Edit icon next to Contact. -
In the Edit contact info page, tap + Add instant messenger.

Enter your WeChat ID in the Instant messenger field, and select WeChat from the dropdown menu on the right.

Tap Save.
To remove your WeChat ID from your profile:

Tap your profile picture then View profile.

Scroll down to the Contact section, and tap the
Edit icon. -
Tap the
Edit icon next to Contact. -
In the Edit contact info screen, tap Remove IM.
