Some videos on LinkedIn may play automatically without sound as you scroll through your feed. You can control when videos play by adjusting your autoplay settings to better manage data usage and viewing experience. This article explains how to manage video autoplay preferences on desktop and mobile devices.
To manage video autoplay:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

Click
Account preferences on the left pane. -
Click Autoplay videos under General preferences.

Switch the toggle next to to turn autoplay On or Off.
Videos will autoplay based on your selected setting as you scroll through LinkedIn on desktop.
To manage video autoplay:

Tap your profile photo.

Tap
Settings. -
Tap
Account preferences. -
Scroll down to General Preferences and select Autoplay Videos.

Choose one of the following options:
- Never autoplay videos
- Wi‑Fi connections only
- On mobile data and Wi‑Fi connections
Videos will autoplay based on your selected setting as you scroll through the LinkedIn mobile app.
Notes:
- Video player–related browser extensions may interfere with autoplay behavior. Try disabling these extensions while using LinkedIn.
- At this time, there is no on/off toggle for auto‑looping on videos under 30 seconds.
