Sign in to LinkedIn with Google One Tap and Google Auto-login

Last updated: 2 years ago

You can use your Google login credentials to sign in to your existing LinkedIn account.

Note: By allowing LinkedIn to use your Google credentials to sign in, you will not have a separate password. LinkedIn does not store your Google password that is enabled via Google sign in. Please visit the Google Help Center to learn more.

To sign in with Google One Tap:

  1. If you already have an account on LinkedIn, you can sign in from the log in page at https://www.garudax.id/uas/login.
  2. Click or tap Continue with Google. If you are signed into your Google account on your internet browser, you may see your Google account(s) as an option. Read more on Google Automatic Sign-in below.
  3. Click or tap Confirm on the popup box that appears to confirm you want to sign in to LinkedIn with your Google account.

Once you complete the process, your LinkedIn account is linked with your Google account. This will enable you to sign in faster going forward. Once you link your Google account, you will be able to log in with your Google credentials or by entering your LinkedIn password going forward.

Note: If you do not have an existing LinkedIn account using these Google credentials, tapping Confirm will create a new LinkedIn account for you. If you accidentally created a duplicate account, you can follow the instructions here to close out this account.

Sign in with Google Auto-login:

Google Auto-login is a feature that will also be enabled automatically once you have completed the instructions to sign in with Google One Tap above. Google Automatic Sign-in allows you to automatically sign into your Google account once you open the LinkedIn website or open the LinkedIn application on an Android or iOS mobile device. In order for Google Automatic Sign-in to work, the following criteria must be met:

  1. You must be signed into either your web browser or an Android mobile device with a Google account that you have used to sign in to LinkedIn via Google in the past.

  2. You must be signed into your web browser or Android mobile device with only one Google account.

If you do not want to be logged in automatically, you will be given a few seconds to select the option to cancel the automatic sign-in process.

Note: Google may institute or remove additional criteria for you to experience the automatic sign-in process, such as requiring that you have not selected the option to cancel the auto-login process in the past or that you have not signed out shortly after having been automatically logged in.

Disable Google One-Tap and Google Auto Sign-in

To disable or revoke access to both One-Tap and autosign-in, visit the Google Account Help Center at http://support.google.com to view the most recent instructions to manage third-party apps and services with access to your account. Google also provides instructions for disabling Google sign in for all third party apps. LinkedIn support is not able to help you disable Google login credentials.

Forgotten, lost, or change Google login credentials

Please contact Google support to recover your credentials. LinkedIn support is not able to help you recover Google login credentials.

Note: If you signed out of your LinkedIn account, you can still directly access the LinkedIn platform when visiting links from a LinkedIn email without having to log back in. To learn more about automatic sign in, visit Sign in and out of your account.
