You can delete a professional source from your professional sources dashboard if you don’t want it associated with your LinkedIn account. You may choose to do this if a source is incorrect, doesn’t belong to you, or you simply don’t want it connected to your profile.
Deleting a professional source removes it entirely from professional sources.
Important to know:
-
Deleting a source is different from removing it from your profile.
-
Removing a source from your profile only changes what’s visible on your profile.
-
To fully disconnect a source from your account, you must delete it from your professional sources dashboard, and - if you’ve added information from that source to your profile, you must manually delete it from your profile.
Deleting a professional source removes it from your dashboard and results in LinkedIn no longer using that information.
