Allow camera and mic permissions for AI interviews

If you see the message “Your browser is blocking microphone and camera access. To continue, allow access from your browser settings and refresh the page,” your browser may be blocking access to your microphone or camera. 

Follow the steps for your browser below. 

Important to know

Make sure your camera and microphone are enabled in your device's system settings.

Chrome  

  1. In the Chrome address bar, select the Site information icon (the  or info symbol next to the URL). 

    • You may need to click Site settings.

  2. Find Microphone and Camera in the permissions list. 

  3. Turn on the toggles to allow access for both. 

  4. Refresh the page. 

Safari  

  1. In the menu bar, select Safari > Settings (or Preferences on older versions). 

  2. Go to Websites. 

  3. Select Camera and Microphone from the left panel. 

  4. Find the site in the list and set both permissions to Allow. 

  5. Refresh the page. 

Firefox  

  1. Select the Shield icon next to the URL and select Protection settings.

  2. Under Permissions, click Settings next to Camera.

  3. Uncheck Block new requests asking to access your microphone and click Save changes. 

  4. Click Settings next to Microphone.

  5. Uncheck Block new requests asking to access your microphone and click Save changes.

  6. Refresh the page.

Microsoft Edge  

  1. Select the  or  icon next to the URL. 

  2. Click Permissions for this site.

  3. Under Privacy, search, and services, find Camera and Microphone in the permissions list.  

  4. Select Allow in the dropdown for both.

  5. Refresh the page.
