Content Summary downloadable report in Learning

Last updated: 5 months ago

The Content Summary report provides an aggregated view of how much learners are engaging with each piece of content. It is meant to help you track content performance and discover the most popular content at your organization.

Column Name Metric Definition
Content Name The name of the content.
Content Provider The provider of the content. Content created or uploaded by your organization is marked with your organization’s name.
Content Type The type of content (e.g. video, learning path, article).
Content ID The ID of the content.
Unique Viewers The total number of unique learners that have viewed this content during the selected time range.
Completions The total number of learners that have completed this content during the selected time range.
Hours Viewed The total hours that learners have spent viewing this content during the selected time range. If a learner watches 1 hour of content in 30 minutes by using 2x speed, we still consider this 1 hour viewed. If a learner watches the same hour-long course twice, we will consider this 2 hours viewed. If a learner moves the video “cursor” to a different point in the video, that will not add any time to hours viewed. The Hours Viewed metric is formatted in reports as [Hours:Minutes:Seconds].

Note: Hours Viewed data is tracked only for LinkedIn Learning courses and videos uploaded by your organization. Learning paths and articles are not currently included in this metric.
Skills The skills tagged to the content. This data is available for LinkedIn Learning courses and your own content that you’ve tagged with skills.
