Last updated: 3 years ago

LinkedIn Learning allows admins to upload customized, proprietary content on the Learning platform. Currently, you can upload ten videos/documents at a time. You can also add custom content by linking to public resources outside LinkedIn Learning.

File requirements and supported file formats for uploading videos

LinkedIn Learning currently supports the following video file formats: ASF, AVI, FLV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, MKV, QuickTime, WebM, H264/AVC, MP4, VP8, VP9, WMV2, and WMV3 file types.

We support the following closed caption formats: WEBVTT (.vtt) and SRT (.srt)

Important to know

For .srt files, there is a maximum of 47 characters per line and a total of three lines that can be displayed. If you don’t ensure this rule, your closed caption text may prematurely cut off.
