If a Page typically responds within seven days of receiving a message from a member, the Page’s average response time might appear in the message conversation window.
Response time is calculated based on an average of messages to the Page in the past seven days. The average is refreshed daily and we include the fastest 90% of the Page’s response times.
Members see the Page’s average response time rounded to the nearest hour if it’s within 24 hours, or rounded to the nearest day if the response time is longer (example: Average response time: 1 day).
From your Page admin view, click View as member in the upper left. Then click the Message button. Your response time appears below your Page name.
A response time only appears for Pages who have replied to at least one message in the past seven days.
As an admin, you can improve your response time by replying to new messages within 24 hours. If you’re currently not able to reply to messages, you can temporarily disable the Message button and re-enable it at any time.
To ensure that you’re notified when you receive messages for your Page, you can turn on your Page messaging notifications.
