Search, update, or remove custom content in Learning

As your learners' needs and goals change, you may need to search for, delete, edit, or recategorize the custom content available to them within Learning.

Important to know

Admin functionality is not available within the Learning apps. To access Learning Management, please use a desktop device.

Search for custom content

To search for custom content:

  1. From Learning Management, click Content.

  2. Select Library from the dropdown that appears.
  3. Type your keywords in the search bar near the upper right corner of the page.
  4. You can filter your content based on the following:
    • Content by: Select a specific source of content.
    • Type: Select courses, videos, articles, learning paths, links, documents, or learning collections.
    • Level: Select beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
    • Time to complete: Allows you to choose the duration of your content.
    • Software: Select a specific software.
    • Subjects & Topics: Select a specific subject or topic area.
    • Custom Tags: Select a specific custom tag from your organization.
    • Continuing Education Units: Select NASBA, PMI, SHRM, HRCI, IIBA, or CompTIA.

Here's a tip

If you don’t have specific search keywords for search, you can filter custom content without running a search through the search bar.

Edit custom content

To edit linked custom content:

  1. From Learning Management, click Content.
  2. Select Library from the dropdown that appears.
  3. From My content, locate the content you wish to remove and click the More.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. In the Edit custom content box that appears you can edit:
    • Thumbnail
    • Title
    • Description
    • Url
    • Discoverability
    • Tags
    • Skills
    • Content Language
  6. After you have edited all desired fields, click Save.

Remove custom content

To remove custom content:
  1. From Learning Management, click Content.
  2. Select Library from the dropdown that appears.
  3. From My content, locate the content you wish to remove and click the More.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click Delete from the confirmation pop-up.
  6. A pop-up will appear at the lower left corner confirming the content has been deleted.
