Sustainability is a Team Sport: Individuals Making Impact 🌎 We're continuing our Earth Day series with another example of how individual actions can drive real impact. Lauren Baldwin, RE Tech’s Director of Sustainability Reporting and Communications, has completed several projects in her own backyard to reduce waste and promote biodiversity, earning the status of a North Carolina Certified Wildlife Habitat from the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. To attract native flora and fauna, she added bird baths and feeders, planted pollinator plants, and even added bird stickers to her windows to prevent collisions. Additionally, she installed three rain barrels, made the switch from paper towels to reusable paper towels, and purchased a composter to divert all of her organic waste. Progress happens when everyone plays their part and we celebrate how Lauren’s at‑home projects contribute to the collective effort needed to protect our planet. Sustainability is a Team Sport: Happy Earth Day! 🌎💚 This Earth Day, RE Tech's Fairfax team stepped outside, teamed up, and gave back through a local nature clean up. It was time well spent strengthening our connection to the environment and to one another, while making a tangible impact in our community. After collecting 400+ gallons of trash, the day ended with a well-deserved social hour to celebrate the impact we made as a team.
