📣 We’re hiring! Masakhane is looking for a Senior Research Manager to help operationalise and scale one of Africa’s most impactful AI research communities. You’ll sit at the centre of multi-country research programs, working across teams, institutions, and funding partners to ensure projects run effectively, transparently, and on time.  From building systems and tracking milestones to coordinating stakeholders across borders, your work will directly shape how African language AI research is delivered at scale. 👩🏿💻 What you’ll do: * Oversee operations across multiple research projects * Design and implement scalable systems for tracking and delivery * Coordinate with researchers, partners, and funders across countries * Strengthen internal processes as Masakhane grows. * Oversee the logistical planning of project-related events (e.g., webinars, kick-offs, workshops). * Ensure clear and consistent communication across distributed research teams. ⭐ What we’re looking for: * 5+ years in program management, research administration, or operations * Experience with multi-country or donor-funded projects * Strong coordination, communication, and systems-thinking skills * Fluency in English & French * Proficiency in any African language Location: Remote (African applicants are highly encouraged to apply) 🗒️ For more information about our vacancy click here: https://lnkd.in/dKg3dcA9 ✅ Apply here: https://lnkd.in/dV7WQSqB
