The MVP advice most founders get is wrong. "Build the smallest thing that works. You can always rebuild it later." Sure. Except "rebuild" is one of the most expensive words in software. A founder we worked with last year almost learned that the hard way. Marcus came to us with a marketplace prototype he'd built in Base44 and ChatGPT. Idea was solid: connect patients who need to be seen now with doctors who have empty slots. He had 20,000+ patients from his insurance business. Anyone could've built him a "minimum viable" version that worked for the first 100 users. We didn't. → V1 was intentionally simple — manual slot entry, no integrations — but the database was structured for what we believed V3 would need. Even though we couldn't articulate V3 yet. → V2 came from real usage data: doctors weren't updating slots in the portal because they were too busy. SMS-based updates fit how they already worked. → V3, eight months in, is a care gap management layer — closing HEDIS gaps, capturing quality bonuses. A much bigger product than the marketplace ever was. Here's the thing most "ship fast" advice misses: The smallest version isn't the cheapest. The version that doesn't need to be thrown away is. Meet Thinh — one of the original builders behind LowCode, and a true cornerstone of our Glide team 🧠💪 When we say Thinh has been here from the early days… we mean it. He was the first developer to join the agency, helping shape not just the apps we build, but the way we build them. And over the years, he’s worked on just about everything. Complex apps. Tight deadlines. High-pressure builds. Ask him what the most challenging project was? There isn’t one. Because for Thinh, every challenge has carried equal weight, and each has been an opportunity to grow. What truly sets Thinh apart is his ownership. He values the ability to think independently, to choose the best path forward, and to build solutions that work not just for the client, but for the entire team. And behind the scenes? He’s constantly learning. ⭢ Always exploring new ways to improve workflows. ⭢ Always finding smarter, more efficient ways to build. ⭢ Always raising the bar for what “good” looks like at LowCode. Fun fact (and one that surprises a lot of people): Thinh didn’t start in tech. His background is in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and at one point, he was on track to pursue a Master’s in the Netherlands… before his journey with LowCode began. Safe to say — we’re glad things took this turn 😅 When he’s not building? You’ll probably find him: 🏀 Watching basketball 🎮 Playing games (from mobile to Pokémon on Nintendo Switch) Thinh is a rare combination of experience, curiosity, and quiet consistency. No noise. No shortcuts. Just someone who shows up, solves hard problems, and makes everyone around him better. We’re incredibly lucky to have him as part of the people powering LowCode — from day one to everything that’s ahead ❤️

The question is not whether #AI will replace your expertise. The real question is: Is your expertise structured enough to become a product? If you do the same analysis again and again using criteria you could teach, you probably do not just have a service. You have a system waiting to be built. That is where a lot of experts get stuck. Their value is real. Their process works. But it still lives in their head and depends on them doing the work manually every time. In this week’s newsletter, we share a real case study about what happens when that expertise gets turned into software, and how that shift can change not just delivery, but the entire business model. It is a useful read for anyone wondering whether their process should stay manual, become AI-assisted, or be built into software. Don't miss out! 📥

Meet Dominik — one of the sharp minds behind our Glide development at LowCode ⚡️ For Dom, one of the biggest challenges hasn’t been technical complexity — it’s been something even trickier: clarity. Early on, he faced situations where scope, workflows, and client expectations didn’t fully align. And as many builders know, that’s where projects can easily go off track. But instead of treating that as a blocker, he turned it into a strength. He doubled down on communication — learning how to bridge the gap between what clients say and what they actually need. Today, he takes a proactive role across every stage of development, from refining data structures to ensuring workflows truly reflect the end-user experience. Because great apps don’t just work… They make sense. What does Dominik enjoy most about working at LowCode? It’s a mix of impact and environment: ⚡️ The speed and flexibility of building with Glide 🌍 The freedom that comes with remote work 🍵 And yes… the ability to enjoy more than just the “standard office tea” But beyond the perks, it’s the ability to have a real impact on projects and be part of a culture that values organization and ownership. Outside of work, Dom is all about exploration 🧭 He’s spent years traveling across Europe, chasing new cultures and unforgettable food experiences — including authentic Neapolitan pizza in Naples (which, according to him, is a much better deal than fries back home in Poland 😄). Dominik brings a powerful combination of technical precision and human understanding to everything he builds — and that’s exactly what makes the difference. We’re lucky to have him shaping the future of software at LowCode 🫶

A lot of companies think they have a hiring problem. They actually have an automation problem. When a business grows without fixing manual workflows first, operating costs climb faster than they should. Not because the team is bad. Because humans are doing work that systems should handle. ⚠️ Copying data. ⚠️ Updating spreadsheets. ⚠️ Checking numbers. ⚠️ Sending alerts. ⚠️ Fixing preventable mistakes. That kind of work doesn’t become efficient when you add more people. It becomes more expensive. We touched on this in this week’s newsletter, featuring a case study from a fast-growing marketing agency that reached out to us a few months ago. The lesson was simple: Growth doesn’t fix broken processes. Growth exposes them. If your team feels busier, but not better, this newsletter is for you 👇📥

Meet Ilry — one of the talented FlutterFlow developers powering projects at LowCode Since joining the team, Ilry has been right in the middle of high-stakes, fast-moving builds. One challenge stands out: working on a highly complex product with tight deadlines, multiple external integrations, and development happening in parallel with design. Not exactly a slow-paced environment 🤪 But that’s where Ilry thrives. Instead of getting slowed down by complexity, he leaned into it: learning how to anticipate technical risks early, communicate dependencies clearly, and stay in sync with the team to avoid costly rework. The result? Delivering high-quality work at speed, without cutting corners. That balance isn’t easy to achieve — but Ilry makes it happen. What does he enjoy most about working at LowCode? 💡 The challenge — working on projects that push him to grow 🤝 The people — a collaborative, supportive environment where everyone genuinely cares Even in a fully remote setting, that sense of connection makes a real difference. When it’s time to recharge, you’ll find him: 🏋️♂️ At the gym 👨👩👧👧 Spending quality time with his family 🍽️ Enjoying dinner dates and series nights with his wife 🌊 Or traveling (especially if there’s a beach involved) Ilry is a great example of what makes LowCode special: high performance, strong collaboration, and a deep commitment to what matters most — both inside and outside of work. We’re proud to have him building with us. 🫶

Manual work is quietly killing your team’s productivity. And most companies don’t even realize how expensive it is. Here’s the uncomfortable truth: If your team is spending hours every week clicking, copying, reviewing, and repeating the same tasks… You’re not saving money with “affordable” software. You’re leaking it through inefficiency. → 5 hours/week of manual work = $15K–$30K/year in lost productivity → Multiply that across roles, teams, and processes… it adds up fast The real problem? Off-the-shelf tools are built for average workflows — not yours. So instead of speeding things up, they force your team into: • Click-heavy processes • Fragmented data views • Constant context switching Which means more time working around the tool than with it. In this newsletter edition, we break down how a recruiting team stuck in this loop cut their workflow time by 80% with a custom solution. Don't miss out! 📥👇
