  • Why Microsoft? Why only Microsoft? In this clip, our CEO, Jamie Anderson, and CIO, Mark Bajema, talk about one of the strategic decisions that shaped Emergent from day one: going deep on a single platform rather than spreading across every cloud and technology stack. Specialization is what lets our team deliver at the level our clients expect. When you commit to one ecosystem, you build the kind of expertise that's hard to replicate. #MicrosoftPartner #CustomSoftware #Azure #TechLeadership

  • If your team is trying to figure out what Microsoft 365 E7 actually includes and whether it makes sense for your organization, you're not alone. • Reactive support keeps things running. It doesn’t keep them healthy. Every quick fix has a cost somewhere else. Deferred updates. Slower performance. Decisions made under pressure that come back later. At some point, “keeping things alive” starts holding the business back. The teams that move faster treat support as part of the strategy, not something separate from it. Jason Clippert explains where that shift starts. in his blog here: https://lnkd.in/gqVYayja. #ITLeadership #SoftwareDevelopment #TechStrategy #EnterpriseIT

  • Robert Hill had an idea: what if attorneys could instantly analyze commercial property tax data across counties and spot inequities in one view? That idea became PinPoint Property Tax Finder, the cloud-based tool our team built with USA PTA. It pulled data from over 100 counties into interactive maps, charts, and tables, letting attorneys narrow down comparable properties and visualize tax inequities in just a few clicks. In some cases, attorneys using PinPoint reduced assessed property values by over 40%. Read the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/gF4wvCqx. #CustomSoftware #SaaS #CloudApplications

  • The Microsoft ecosystem changes every week. New products, new offerings, things moving from preview to general availability, products getting discontinued, and pricing shifts with each new SKU. Nick Bukosky talks about why that pace is hard on generalist MSPs. When a team is spread across many technologies, no one builds sustained expertise in any one of them. The result: most clients coming from a generalist partner are underutilizing the Microsoft licenses they're already paying for. Security features included in an E5 license that never get activated. Teams and SharePoint running at default. Third-party tools paid for separately to fill gaps that the existing license would have covered. • 🚨 If your MSP's involvement is mostly limited to fixing things when you call, that's a reactive structure. And reactive structures don't produce strategic outcomes. Nick Bukosky covers what a more intentional Microsoft partnership actually looks like, including licensing, support access, and staying ahead of the platform.
