The invite-only dress code was white tops, denim, boots, and a few diamonds (real or faux, we’ll never tell 😉), and Aperion Care Summerfield and Aperion Care Hanover came ready to celebrate. As a sponsor of The Bev Hartig Huntington's Disease Foundation's 17th Annual Evening of Inspiration, we enjoyed dancing the night away at an unforgettable private concert featuring country star Clayton Anderson! The event helped raise nearly $300,000 to advance research and resources for those affected by Huntington’s Disease. It was our honor to bring along several of our residents as well, including Summerfield’s Resident Council President, Huntington's Disease Society of America National Man of the Year, and a moderator for HD Reach's "Game Over HD" gaming platform. Aperion Care Summerfield is among several HD organizations that receive an annual gift from the foundation for its Hopes and Dreams program. Through this partnership, the facility has granted about 10 wishes a year, adding helpful amenities like adjustable chairs and a walk-in bathtub to creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for residents. This year’s plans include attending Kid Rock's tour in June, adaptive ziplining, a trip to Cincinnati's aquarium and more—opportunities that simply would not be possible without this support.
