About us

Analog Physics Inc. develops deterministic, certifiable intelligence for autonomous machines that must operate safely, independently, and at scale. The approach is fundamentally different from conventional AI. Analog Physics uses no neural networks, training datasets, or statistical prediction at runtime. It engineers intelligence as a physical reasoning system: mission goals, operating limits, and safety rules compile into formal 3SAT constraint clauses defining what actions are allowed. When multiple valid actions exist, quantum subsumption resolves them — interference and amplitude compression evaluate all behavior combinations simultaneously, collapsing O(2ⁿ) arbitration to O(n). The same mechanism architecturally suppresses hallucination: invalid outputs are removed in a deferred-inhibition phase before emission — specified in a 1993 IEEE FCCM paper and confirmed in neuroscience 25 years later. The architecture is application-agnostic, producing bounded, auditable decisions while leaving actuation to the platform integrator. This separation enables certification under FDA, IEC 61508 SIL 3-4, DO-178C, ISO 13482, and MIL-STD-882E. Analog Physics is also developing a compact, edge-deployable quantum cognitive core operating at room temperature — no dilution refrigerator, no underground facility, laser cooling alone. A central innovation treats nuclear decay as an engineered dissipative resource rather than error source, enabling reliable quantum reasoning in mobile form factors. The technology is validated on operational sensor data from the NATO Counter-UAS Test Centre (Netherlands) — the 2021 NATO ICMCIS challenge dataset — 97.3% classification accuracy versus 50.3% classical, false positives reduced from 35% to 5.25%, and 40 ms latency versus 200 ms. Coordination scales to hundreds of millions of agents across air, land, sea, and space. The guiding principle: autonomous systems require engineered intelligence, not trained approximations.
