Those are the most common dimensions, but I have seen a couple that I like: orderliness and auditability. Orderliness is that the data has the required format and structure (think about dates in different formats or time zones). Auditability refers to the possibility to track introduced changes. That could be in the form of metadata and data lineage.

Validity, accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness are very important but we must consider some other dimensions that are not mentioned here : -Relevance: Does the data align with analysis objectives? -Precision: Is the data detailed and accurate at a specific level? -Integrity: Can the data be trusted and relied upon? -Conformity: Does the data adhere to predefined standards? -Accessibility: How easily can authorized users access the data? Data quality dimensions can vary based on the specific characteristics of the data being used and the requirements of the analysis or application

These are the most common data quality dimensions for assessing data quality. Without downplaying the importance of the other dimensions, from my experience the data quality dimension that is critical to define is consistency: which refers to the coherence and uniformity of data over time and across different sources. With the increase in volume and complexity of data, extracting real, high-quality data from massive datasets becomes a pressing and complex need. Achieving such consistency and uniformity of data manually can have a significant impact on the budget allocated to data quality. There is a need to shift as much as possible from manual data quality processes to metadata-driven automation and AI/ML-driven automation.

If the data is inaccurate, my analysis will be based on false information. This can lead to misleading or incorrect results. For example, if a dataset contains incorrect customer addresses, I may not be able to accurately identify the geographic distribution of customers.
